ABOUT

Lilith is an independent feminist zine based in Costa Rica. Its mission is to share disruptive, informative, and creative content around feminism, intersectionality, and the experience of living under a patriarchal society. In Lilith Zine, women and gender-diverse people take the lead—creating collectively, seeking mutual support, knowledge, and community through art as both a tool and a path toward social change.

IDENTITY

The visual identity of Lilith Zine is a bold tribute to feminist struggle and the voices driving change. Unapologetic and visually loud, it defies editorial norms to amplify stories often silenced.
Rooted in pop, punk, and protest culture, it uses high-contrast colors—neon green, electric purple, and deep black—as a visual battle cry. Bold, condensed typefaces and hand-drawn elements reflect grassroots energy and collective action.
A central icon—a flame inside a mouth—symbolizes voice, transformation, and inner fire. Psychedelic patterns and layered textures evoke movement and disruption, mirroring the intensity of its themes.
Photography is intimate and powerful, centering diverse bodies in their vulnerability and strength. Collage, distortion, and fragmentation reflect the complexity of feminist discourse.
More than an aesthetic, Lilith Zine’s identity is a visual manifesto: a call to resist, create, and dream together.
